My moms are lesbians and queer media has always been part of our lives. We've watched stuff like Queer as Folk, Pose, and Tales of the City together so it's not the gay stuff that would scandalize them. (If anyone wants to see some legit good and relatively accurate portrayals of gay life, those three shows are fantastic.)
