Instructive thoughts

My brain keeps shocking me with different things. Like for some reason if I'm doing something nice or playing something all the sudden I get hit with a sexual wish regardless if its a family member which is disgusting, or having to kill someone basically my brain just shocks me with random wishes that I don't want to come true or imaginations. I calmed down with the thoughts but its still affecting my routine to do something to the point I just want to stay in bed because I'm disgusted or just don't wanna think about it. I have tried distracting myself but it always interrupts and ruins the game I'm playing. Anyways, tips to get rid of these thoughts?

Whenever a sexual thought comes to my mind at the wrong time, I just think about gore or look at gore. But, in your case, you can just try thinking about something that turns you off or just think about gore. I don't know, I'm not smart. 3 reply

Intrusive thoughts are super normal, specially on stressful times like these. If you can move on from them and continue with your normal life, that's ok. But if it's persistent and blocks your everyday activities, find help. reply

I have the same kinds of intrusive thoughts because of a condition called Pure OCD, or Pure O. I do not encourage you to self-diagnose, but rather to look into it and PLEASE contact a psychiatrist for confirmation so you can take action as soon as possible. I've had many disgusting dreams and after looking it up it told me my brain was telling me I wanted to be better friends with them. Idk if that's true or not but the dreams weren't pleasant so I feel you there! The killing part I've had somewhat and I have no clue what it means (￣∇￣").
