What BLs have y'all read but just didn't get the hype of it like everyone else? Personally I would say Painter of the Night (please don't hate me lol). Like it's really popular and everyone seems hella obsessed with it but idk... I love the art style and Nakyum is adorable, but it's not something that I think is out of this world or as good of a story as it is made out to be. I do admit it's probably partly bc I'm just not into the whole abusive, psychopathic love trope:/
"a guy like you" there was tooo much unnecessary drama. And the uke and the "villain" were fucking annoying. AND ARE WE JUST GONNA IGNORE THE FACT THAT THE VILLAIN ALMOST RAPED THE UKE AND THAT HE WANTED TO KEEP THEM LOCKED UP FOREVER
