Over-hyped BL's

What BLs have y'all read but just didn't get the hype of it like everyone else? Personally I would say Painter of the Night (please don't hate me lol). Like it's really popular and everyone seems hella obsessed with it but idk... I love the art style and Nakyum is adorable, but it's not something that I think is out of this world or as good of a story as it is made out to be. I do admit it's probably partly bc I'm just not into the whole abusive, psychopathic love trope:/

HIDOKU SHINAIDE. From before until now, the first series Ive dropped not because of boredom or etc but because of how the series go on just like that. I dunno. Vol 1 just left a REALLY bad taste in my mouth, nothing can wash it away. And i cant continue it anymore.
