I mean, there's people on this site that are fine and there's no issue with them, but on the whole this is how things tend to be: - excusing problematic content - not holding authors and artists accountable - pulling the "not all fujos" card to rid oneself of guilt without actually doing anything about the issue(s) in question - full out attacking......   1 reply

well, the same people who read yaoi go full pitchfork and torches mode when female or POC characters are represented badly but always seem to have misplaced that energy when it comes to lgbt characters and especially when it comes to gay male characters, so you tell me why they think that.   reply

Okay, there are people who read bl because of the fetish gay stuff. However, there are a bunch of people who just read the story because of plot, fluff, etc. Things in bl stories wouldn't happen, if it wasn't for the couple liking each other or being involve with each other. Gay male here (I’m not part of any communities bc of toxic ppl, I left them all) and there aren’t any interesting stories and much films of lgbtq+ So I prefer (mostly Asians) Yaoi/Shounen ai and sometimes asians BL shows bc the Americans ones has no taste expect for Pose, I highly recommend watching Pose if you want a good cry and see some beau......   2 reply
