What do you like/hate about Ukes?

I dont like how its rare to see a powerful or strong uke who actually says no, or an uke who isn't feminine because i think people dont realize that not every uke is going to be feminine and shy and they blush. But i enjoy ukes who say no and know what they want kinda thing. Oh i also hate when the uke is like a total piece of shit towards the seme......   2 reply

I hate uke who are dumber than flies. I mean after a certain point of stupidity I can't take it. I like ukes which are first a little shy and avoid the seme, but then become clingy and lovable. Basically a cat   reply

I dislike the name and all of its connotations. One of the many things I don't like about yaoi is the rigid gender roles (or in this case, sex roles). It would be nice if bottoms were 3-dimensional enough to have character traits more memorable than the fact that they're the ones getting fucked, but so many of them have personalities that are essen......   2 reply

I like it when an uke is written as an actual independent character, as in their are interesting by themself and don't rely on the influence of the "seme". Too often ukes are written so one-dimensional that they almost seem like a shadow of a character that is just waiting for their seme to pop out of the bush and make their life full of butterflie......   1 reply

I like when the uke is actually assertive in bed and acts on his desires instead of just laying back and reluctantly allowing the seme to do him. And I hate when they're all tsundere and wishy-washy, making a fuss and pulling away when the seme comes close and then whining and feeling dejected when he obeys their orders and stays away, I hate that......   reply
