I think a relationship shouldn't need sexual things to work. If you feel comfortable sending them then do it but if not then nobody should force or pressure you to.
If they need/want relieve they can always go to good old porn. In case neither of you minds then find relieve else where. Just do what makes you comfortable and try to find some middle ......
