Small frame of reference here: i have been around the Yaoi/BL community since the days of lemon... take from that what you will. I was also into this before i came out as Bi and Non-Binary.
Though each community does things differently, I see the term Fujo/Fudanshi extremely similar to Weaboo. like.... it's not a fucking title you want to have.
