I made this ranking list for these 40 colored fantasy romance webtoons (disclaimer: this is fully personal and these are not my top 40 webtoon as this is an ever evolving and changing list based on new updates also I didn’t remember the names at first so I had these little names to remind myself which one it was and I was too lazy to erase them later but I wrote most of the actual names next to them)


1. Pauliana Winters - Emperor and the Knight
(I love it there’s literally nothing bad with it it’s great. I would like to marry Pauliana I love her so much but I also believe that Lucius might love her more than me so it’s fine)

2. That child blonde girl -Suddenly Became a Princess One Day
(Amazing and superb art and interesting story, not sure about the two male leads yet but I like the father and daughter. She is smart and nice)

3. Stepmom pink hair - A stepmother’s märchen (mmm nice it’s a different and unique story I like that, I like all the dynamics except the prince he has some fishy things about him)

4. Gray Hair girl - The Abandoned Empress
(I hate the prince but I like her decision to success her own family lineage I also am glad she didn’t choose the green haired one, my vote is on red)

5. La Dolce Vita di Adelaide
(beautiful art great and interesting story and a really great male lead. I like it, it’s nice)

6. Return to Survive as the Hero’s Wife
(amazing awesome art with great characters! Though it’s kind of annoying that Cesar doesn’t ask what’s going on between Noah and Canaria directly to them. Though it’s understandable especially when his wife told him to divorce her, so yeah. I love Canaria and Cesar and oh damn I like Gracie it’s really interesting, yeah it’s great daaaamn things are getting interesting)

7. This girl is a little wild
(oh yeah oh yeah I like the male lead and also like the lady it’s niiiiiice, great dynamic what a power couple, great story quite nice)

8. Machine maker girl/boy - I choose the emperor ending
(nice, funny and smart and did I mention that it was funny, yeah also both the knight and the duke are great)

9. The grandfather girl -The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion
(hmm interesting story but I would have gone with the grandfather and become a mage but I can understand that she fell in love, I like this story there is nothing wrong with it but it lacks the ignition of personal interest on my part)

10. Blue haired werewolf - Beware of the Villainess
(niiiiice give those bitches hell ugh I’m so glad she came to save that pore girl from them)

11. Hourglass girl - the villainess reverses the hourglass
(god I like how smart she is but also using the hourglass in every little inconvenience is kind of dumb especially now that she discovered it ages her, though the prince mistaking her with mielle is funny)

12. That brown haired telephone girl
(the art is amazing I loooove the art and the male lead is so good but by trusting that motherfucker she dropped soooooo low in my eyes hope she fixes that)

13. Chitra (interesting and quite nice in a different way)

14. Lucia
(Hmm yeah I like that he fell in love first even though he was so arrogant like, “If u fall in love with me this is over” I want to see her and the guy’s son interact I hope they get along)

15. Tea girl - The Duchess’ 50 Tea Recipes
(hmm tea girl is nice, the art is good but the male lead is not my style. Tea is nice but also kind of pointless, it’s just tea. Not much to complain about it’s not the greatest but also not bad, has a nice rhythm to it)

16. The Duchess with an Empty Soul (hmm yeah I like it, especially because it breaks the relationship norms in many of the other webtoons like the male lead being soooo soooooo in love that he doesn’t let the girl get out the house or sooo sooo in love and cares for her that he doesn’t let her talk with other man/live her life/ have other hobbies. I’m so glad that they both respect each other as individuals. I like it, it’s quite nice)

17. Remarried Empress (yes yes leave that annoying bitch and motherfucker behind you deserve better!)

18. Body switch with purple and blonde prince wants to kill them both - I want to be you, just for a day (ohoho nice, kill that prince and become queen)

19. Dark pink haired villainess -Death is the only ending for the villainess (still quite new but it’s going good so far, nice art, it’s interesting)

20. Tyrant’s older sister (nice art actually amazing art and I like male leads who fall in love first so hmm yeah sure nice)

21. Blond baby with red eyes Archmage - the youngest princess (it’s nice it’s different not very wow but yeah)

22. Dark magic grey hair girl with purple eyes - the monster duchess and contract princess (she is still a child so who knows what will happen still pretty interesting and I love the masked lady)

23. Light pink hair daddy girl - seduce the villain’s father (great art, nice but quite new I wonder where things will go)

24. Iris (hmm it’s nice not the best art I have seen and I do feel cheated with that opening? title? page having that awesome art anyways it’s great. I like the characters but I feel like I never had that deep connection with any of them (and I’m saying this as someone crying over Lucius and Draco Malfoy getting over their issues in a fic at 1 am) but it is nice)

25. Sincerely: I became a duke’s maid (hmm hm it’s cute! Young master’s blushing face is soo cute. Though he became too obsessive later, but it was nice to see him change and become a little more independent. And honestly Diego is definitely not my type...Well it’s nice)

26. Fanfic writer stanning the prince (hmm the girl is good the male lead is kind of too cold which is understandable so I give him a pass, with the new things happening with the other twin things are starting to get interesting)

27. Male butler girl - the duke’s servant (the male lead annoys me and he is not that handsome, still it’s interesting but I hope they don’t get together)

28. Doctor Elise (great art and was going good but then became boring, I don’t even remember what she was trying to accomplish I might start from the beginning later but yeah)

29. Lady Baby (nice yeah but one would think that after reuniting with her dead family she would be more close or at least warm with them, she is more of an ice cube than to my liking)

30. Orange hair girl stole necklace - Virtues of the villainess (I mean idk go live your life I guess, not bad but not the greatest thing I have read either, yeah)

31. Yellow eyes and Dark and light blue hair (awesome art but she has the personality of plain bread, never before she thought by herself only listening and obeying others without realizing anything and she still expects to be the Empress without even once thinking of how to govern the country, also the male lead is not my type)

32. The Maid and the Vampire (I guess it’s interesting, but she is way too dumb? No she has no guard against anyone I mean if someone bought you and threatened to sell u back u don’t just completely trust them with all your heart so yeah. But it’s fine it’s neither horrible nor great so I won’t continue just not my cup of tea I guess)

33. Blonde hair pink eyed girl - I’m a child of this house (I don’t care if she is a child of this house or not, she doesn’t try to accomplish anything. I kept reading from the beginning and forgetting everything, I guess it’s because this is not memorable at all)

34. Reminiscence Adonis (hrrmm I hate possessive male leads saying things like, “You’ll be mine/I’ll make you mine/You are mine” instead of I love you so that’s a minus. She is way too cold hearted and mean for my liking, most of the time I can understand contempt for like idk people that killed u in your past life or people that killed your father and family in your past life but she is even horrible to the maids who only play childish pranks. She didn’t grow up or anything, I thought she was going to train hard and become that guy’s knight but instead for some unknown reason she is bitter and filled with hate. I only read 8 chapters and I think it’s enough)

35. Green soulmark girl - The villain’s savior (she cries and whines and cries and whines and that’s it I won’t continue)

36. Miss Not so sidekick (way too memey and boring after a while, I don’t know what her goal is and it seems pointless also I like a little bit of seriousness and realness as I’m sure she would have already died in real life. Not my preference at all)

37. The Justice of Villainous Woman (boooooring and bad art I also read this a couple of times from the beginning but kept forgetting what it was about, it’s not memorable I don’t care)

38. Daughter of the Emperor (umm hello? She killed an innocent princess? I mean I know the king gave the order and yeah sure maybe she might’ve dropped her but she didn’t? You might think that I have way too high expectations from a baby but it’s a baby with the mind of an adult and if the Archmage from another story could do it so can she? Anyways I read up to chapter 7 and got bored because 1- she doesn’t have a motive or anything to accomplish 2- I already gave my heart or at least a part of it to another cold hearted tyrant king father so yeah I won’t continue)

39. Empress of another world (whooaaa why we goin so fast?!! Why did they trust each other so easily?? And I thought she would explain her story and explain or give evidence when she said she was from another world but she didn’t? It was just I’m from another world and that’s it. Hrrmm hrrmm idk the prince is not for me and she keeps falling in love with him way too easily like my heart is going to explode with this kiss!! No it’s just a kiss girl chill. Anyway I get that she wants to return to her original world but she doesn’t have a plan except from making the other family jealous or fighting with the queen. Not my cup of tea)

40. They say I was born a king’s daughter (the other world is waaaaay too annoyingly sexist if I wanted to see an overly patriarchal society I would just go outside. and instead becoming powerful as a group of girls she is only playing the Daddy’s girl. I know the other princesses were hostile in the beginning but you know she is annoying like all she needs to do is tell the other girls to stuck up to the guys and lie to them at least that way they would be treated better and all girls win! I don’t understand why she doesn’t. Also 13 years of age gap???? I mean if they were both adults when they met I wouldn’t have a problem but why is he so easily in love with a 4 year old? I personally have many issues with age gaps. I just read 11 episodes and that’s it, I didn’t like it there was no spark of interest ignited in me so nope sorry not for me)
