kinda off-topic but yeah im sharing this

i used to be a background friend. when meeting up to have fun, i just awkwardly stand there and listen as the others talk on. im not rlly an outgoing person, i cant initiate a conversation unless it's necessary, and im gloomy af so im rlly hard to approach. i know the world doesn't revolve around me so i thought of doing something abt this sht of a personality. i was able to make some friends but things happened, trust eventually broke down, one friend pulled away from the other and we just kinda drifted apart, you know the typical, but im thankful to those ppl. now they kinda hit me up from time to time, asking me to hang out and the like but the connection isn't just there anymore. for some reason, i chose to close the door on that particular person. even if i miss them, in some cases it's better the door remains closed.
