So, I personally don't have gay parents, but one of my friends does. And they're just...normal parents. Idk what to say (￣∇￣") They have their good sides, their bad sides, you know, they're just people. And if they're nicer? They're just people. Normal people. Being gay doesn't make you any different than other people. The worst thing you can do when portraying gay parents in media is to act like they're not gonna act like the average parents. There is nothing to 'understand'. Just write them as any other couple.
