Do you remember?

Remember 20 years ago when anime and manga was not as known and was seen as super weird and gross? I have yet to get "out of the closet" with my love for anime and manga with my closest friends but I have started speaking about it more freely online and even dared to bring it up on dates and usually their reactions are not as bad as I imagined... Its so funny to me how things have changed and now it is almost weird for people to NOT know of anime and manga... I used to feel like "its not even a hobby, no need to tell people about it" but ever since I've started talking about it more with people in real life it feels just right, and it is definitely more than a hobby. It makes me cry, laugh and excited and I cant wait for the updates for all the series I read... It really feels funny how scared I was to open about a topic I am so passionate about and now I want to tell everyone I meet... Idk... Just felt like sharing this...
