Identity/falling in love crisis (plz help)

Jabami Yumeko Jabami Yumeko 2020-06-20 03:11:41 About falling inlove
I have never really fallen in love before. I don't know if it's just me or my social circle but I don't really find any boy or girl appealing to me for me to actually fall in love with them. I do find some girl or boy cute, but those crushes usually end in like a week. For some reason, calling myself straight, or bisexual or any other labels just doesn't feel right to me. Is it me? Am I too antisocial? Do I just not like any boy or girl in particular because I don't have the right aspects to actually fall in love? Can I fall in love at all? Someone please help me. I don't know if I'm just exaggerating, or if haven't found the right person yet, but I really need some advice. Just respond with an explanation or something, I'll take what I can get.
~Thanks

As other have said, you might be asexual, aromantic or both. It's okay if you can't fall in love, you can still have relationships above that with people that you might value more. I personally also have never fallen in love with anyone and hadn't thought about all of that until I started university since people around me since dated each other and hooked up. You also never know if you just haven't found the right person yet as well. You seem to be worried about being different, but that's okay. Everyone is different in their own way.

I feel the same exact way. I used to just naturally be attracted to other people, but after a couple months my entire mindset has changed at the thought of love. As you said before, I think some guys and girls are cute but I would only end up having a crush on them for a short period of time at most. Personally, I have extremely high standards that literally humans can’t match up to. (Standards only an anime character can live up to *~*- basically the most attractive ‘specimen’ I can possibly think of, but then I realize there’s probably no one in the world who could have those traits) People always tell me “you’ll never know who you might fall in love with”, but I just don’t think I’ll ever find someone who will make me feel that type of way, so I just completely forget about the thought of love. (Which probably isn’t the best advice, but I completely get what you mean.)

I'm aromantic and was in the same situation so you might just be unable to feel romantic attraction which is okay :)

You could be asexual/aromantic if you don't feel any sexual/romantic attraction towards anyone (I'm aromantic) but it could also be that you haven't found the right person yet like you said. I don't know your situation so I can't judge but don't force yourself to 'fall in love' and let it come naturally. Everyone is different, so how you 'fall in love' is going to be different from others obviously. Hope this helped feel free to reply lol
