Magnus Archives (Spoilers on ch. 3)
Super late, I know I KNOW, but I'm starting on the Magnus Archives. Watching on youtube while I have the transcripts pulled up in the background to follow along. I'm on episode 4 "Page Turner" right now, about to go to episode 5.
But I just wanted to share something about episode 3, "Across the street". If you need a refresher, it's this girl Amy narrating a case where this man, Graham, who lives across from her goes missing. Long story short, they take the same night classes at a college. They don't talk much to be called friends, so more of acquaintances. One day, Amy catches Graham on the bus as she's heading home, and goes up to him, noticing that he was acting strange like he was paranoid. They get off at the same stop, and something pushes her into the street causing her to have a concussion.
Graham takes her home and she eventually leaves after she feels pulled into this weird table he had. After that, as a self proclaimed "people watcher", she watches Graham after she notices that he lives across from her. After watching him for idk how long, she notices his very strange behavior such as organizing and reorganizing his journals that she sees him constantly writing in and eating paper from said journals.
One night, after she stopped watching Graham for some time as she got busy with work, she watches for a few minutes and sees a figure pulling itself into his window. She calls the police, claiming home invasion. But as she watches the interaction between Graham and the police, she notices that Graham looks very different, most noticeably his hair changes from a dark color to blonde. After the police leave, not-Graham stares at her from his window and smiles. The next few days, Amy sees not-Graham throws away all his notebooks, and later she moves because the staring becomes an every night thing.
What spooked me out was that that Jonathan guy (that's his name right?) says that a notebook was recovered and all it had in it was "Keep watching" written over and over. I was completely speechless. So, did Graham know that Amy was watching him the whole time? Was he hoping that she would save him? If so, that's so sad that she wasn't able to help him. And what was up with that table? And the not-Graham, is that going to be showing up later? Or explained later?
