yall ever get tricked by a cover

No, when you read manga for a long time, you usually get the gist of what to expect from the story. It's not concrete proof, its just a feeling. And most of the time, my gut feeling never betrays in finding me a "diamond in the rough". But who knows if judging a book by its cover caused me to overlook a good story   reply

All the time... I know art is hard and I'm an artist on my own but Im allowed to not like certain art styles cus I physically cannot stay and I rlly dislike the super thin lines artstyle sometimes.   reply

A lot of manhwas came from novels and when they get uploaded on here the uploader uses the novel art instead of the manhwa cover lmao.   reply

In my opinion, I think the cover art should be representative of what the contents will be. You don't want a readers first impression to be 'wow wtf this art isn't anywhere near as good' That's a terrible first impression to leave your readers with. Esp when it feels like a HUGE departure from the cover art. Those are just my thoughts. And y......   reply
