Does anyone else hate how highschool bl is written?
Maybe hate is a strong word but I feel like a lot of kr bl forget the main characters are supposed to be teenagers especially teenaged boys, I noticed this especially after reading fake slackers and wait for me after school (absolute peak btw) and realized those two wrote teenagers like teenagers, but a lot of popular highschool bl manhwa is 6’5 alpha who looks older than the teachers and 5’3 petite twink
And when highschoolers actually act like their age, the readers HATE it. If you want a highschool romance but don't expect them to act like teenagers, then make up your goddamn mind and read adult romance instead. 1 reply
