What does it mean to have been exposed to porn at a young age

Personally I just became super desensitized to it. I know a lot of people become hypersexual or get porn addicted but personally I'm just nonchalant to it. I treat reading about sex scenes the same as reading through a couple sharing their first kiss, holding hands, or being on a date. Terrible, being hypersexual all ur life till u finally get out of it (by getting a partner ig) and feeling absolute disgust about yourself....I've experienced it b4, I learnt abt porn since I was 11, continuously watching it then just fucking stopped at 15-16 idk but just limit ur fucking screentime pls and quit porn asap or you'll end up w the min......   2 reply

Some become hypersexual and barely have control of their sexual desires, simply being addicted can ruin ur life, while some other people when exposed to those things at a young age they become immune to it and barely have sexual desires at all. Honesty I think the first one is just the worst and can lead you to confusion about wtf you're attracted ......   reply

Just a theory cause idk I think it just makes the person objectify people and think of them merely as like pleasure objects. Since the opinions you form yourself are harder to change, that'd mean the person would be making opinions like people don't need to be treated with respect and they'd act out on it irl in some form.   1 reply

Like...grooming? Or just seeing/reading the stuff? I...think there's probably research papers going into that kind of thing, it's not something you should ask random internet armchair psychologists.
