4/10 my little sister wanted to go… little meaning she is 13, ok that’s young but for the movie we are watching honestly… dude it’s legitimately a kids movie like a KIDS movie like there were 5 to 7 year olds with their little minecraft shirts and minecraft popcorn metal buckets. My sister just kept saying these three things “chicken jockey, I am steve and, this is minecraft”
Enough of ranting….. on to ranting about the movie.
christ, the main kid had a crazy lisp that was kinda annoying, but in the end that didn’t matter since the only ones talking in this whole damn movie was jack black and aquaman, the other two characters was the main kid older sister and this other lady that only did one liners the entire movie, during half of the movie the two ladies just left and did their own thing, not to mention jack black and aquaman had a weird homoerotic tension this whole movie, it was basically enemies to lovers and at the end jack black left the minecraft world to go live with aquaman in his little shop in the real world. there was even a point in the movie where aquaman said to jack black with his hand on his shoulder “You were my first friend….. my age…” Liek what???
the rest was quite literally the other three characters and my god were they boring… and if the movie wasn’t gay tensions or boring scenes, it was blatant ads for perfumes, oreos and that fucking car…
end point, if your going to watch it shut down your brain
