this is just a manhwa problem (and mangas/manhuas too tbh). it's just a problem of racism that east asians have, that is then reflected in their works. when i used to live in korea, i noticed it alot with how my friend was treated (who was indian). it wasn't full on slur type thing but little passive aggressive comments and shit reply
It has always been like that in every other portrayal outside of BL too. In the west it’s even worse. Be thankful you don’t get a smelly grapist stereotype in BL instead of a sexy strong guy with revealing clothes. reply
It's Japan, Korea, and China who make your manhwa/mangas/manhuas.
Those three countries, ngl, they don't have that much interaction with culture outside of their own. They just have a lot of Western stereotypes of those cultures that they work off of. So in reality, you're not really dealing with THEM being racist, you're dealing with WESTERN peop...... reply
