it's just butt muscles. a lot of people have a good amount of fat there so they're not very visible, but if your ass is flat as fuck and you're relatively skinny/in shape (which is kind of the standard bl body type) you can sometimes see them. if you look up human muscle references for artists you can see really clearly how they look
