im proud of being able to hold back my response to scream in panicky surprise and just be freaked out when i spot cockroaches (its so fking hard not to cos i hate them sm) just so my toddler wont develop an irrational fear of them from seeing me, her reliable adult, being so scared of this tiny but probably life-threatening crawling creature
