confess to your crush

oop its a long story, not very climatic tho

Ive never confessed to any of my crushes before but i decided i needed to confess to this guy i liked on and off for 5 years cuz i just couldnt keep it in anymore. I confessed to him thinking that i didnt expect my feelings to be reciprocated bcs hes pretty popular with the girls back in highsch but we agreed to get to know eachother more and i got ecstatic bcs of that?? we talked for like 2-3 months and at one point he said hes starting to like me too.

lol but he started getting close to his ex again and they told ppl theyre just "bestfriends" bcs ppl started questioning why they were always so touchy feely. bruh i was like ??? wtf, how dumb do you think ppl are, namsayin? His ex and i are somewhat acquaintances, idk what we were bcs she was rlly inconsistent on how she treated me and idk if it was only me. I guess she knew about the him and i. At a rlly random time, she came up to me with the "omg we havent talked in awhile" bs and eased herself in to talking about me and the guy. Asking if i think we were going to get tgt and i alr knew that i had no chance against her.

I texted him that night asking if he somewhat still liked me and he said tht he rather not get into a relationship at that time but his ex and him started dating again after like 2 months after, ompf i had to see them almost everyday cuz my sch has limited spaces u could hangout in.

twas pure hell watching the dude who rejected you bcs hes "not ready" to date, date his ex not long after. it sounds so childish and sht but at that time, my self esteem hit rock bottom after that and i had a rlly hard time getting over him. i kept thinking i wasnt good enough for anybody but its watever now. finally graduated highsch and i dont hafta see their faces anymore yikes
