why are there so many puritans on this site??

so much of the featured manga is hardcore, toxic, crazy seme, etc etc but then the comments are always split with people talking normally and people complaining about the toxicity, calling the author/audience freaks and shit like that. i am genuinely curious if theres an actual reason for this but this is mainly a complaint (￣ε(#￣)Σ

I think one of the factors would be the lack of trigger warnings or proper tags—esp for works that do not have official eng trans. Also mangago is not even a legal site, minors can easily access adult/R-rated stories unlike on legal sites like ridi, lezhin, tappy etc. Most puritans and the so called moral police readers as what Ive noticed are mi...... reply

Some people don't read summary beforehand, some people don't expect it to be THAT toxic, some people complain about toxicity by just reading the summary, some people know its toxic but will still read and complaint. I think it might depend on the material and audience. So I've noticed that you don't get as much of those comments in mangas compared to manhwas. I'm thinking it's because a lot of manga readers have been reading Yaoi for a long time and know what to expect.
