Is it just me or hollywood movies are harder to hear??
Why is it when the characters are talking the audio is so low and muffled, and I've never encountered this with movies in my native language or even in Korean dramas, like I don't even understand korean but I can hear every syllable pronounced clearly?? Actually they talk a bit too loudly ngl. it because english is my second language or just a way english is spoken? Is this exclusive to a specific genre of movies?? And I'm pretty sure this is only a thing in movies because I can understand native English speakers on YouTube pretty well. Maybe old age has caught up with me and I'm finally losing my hearing??
me with every single Scottish & Irish actors.. might as well say goodbye to my english, cuz i understand nothing. either way, no matter the language, i can't watch without subtitles 1 reply
Well, a lot of Hollywood films get voiced over by the actors afterwards (it's called ADR)
Also, usually the audio in Hollywood films is for cinemas so when it's heard from headphones or home systems the quality is lower reply
