For me when I was in 6th Grade, I was talking to my friend on the bus and I will admit I was kinda loud. But one of the 8th graders yelled at me and said that someone should shut that Chinese motherfucker up. I wasn't even Chinese but I went home crying and embarrassed. For me the most offensive thing someone has ever said to me was that "You're too young to be depressed". My mental health is a really bad at the moment and the fact that someone just invalidates all of my problems in one sentence just because they think that "I'm too young to know what real problems are." is really fucking offensive and ignorant.   3 reply

i got called “loud” .... nobody knew i had a hearing problem and i didn’t know what volume is right. at the time i played it off bur now i speak softer than a normal person. people call me quiet now :/ but its better than loud.   reply

For me it was when my mother called me "mentally ill" because back then I disliked my sister and I didn't like how she was comparing me to her. Now I'd rather be compared to my sister than my mother. For me it was when i was 12 (I think it's 6th grade ?) I was "going out" with a boy and someone didnt liked him so bc i was his girlfriend he started to insult me. When i was passing beside him with my group to the bus, he called me a "Cassos" ( wich means "social case" in french.
