My friend suddenly ignore me

This happened after a school event, she just suddenly stopped talking to me. I'm introverted and I'm not really a fan of events, ever since I never go with proms or be part of something in school I just rather spend my time reading and being at my room yk. I ask her what I did wrong and she said, she doesn't want to be friends with me because apparently i'm "negative" Is me not being outgoing means that I'm negative ? I just can't seem to remove that in my head and its making me lose focus on studying. I'm in 2nd year college, and its not that I can't live without a friends, but I hate the though that she thinks i'm negative and that I make other person negative as well. She said that she absorbs me and she doesn't want to end up like me. I though of joining the congress because I want to change myself and be outgoing just like she wanted but the though of it already tires me. I just want to live a quiet life, graduate without any drama. Should I just accept the fact that we need to stop being friends?

Don't change yourself for someone else's own satisfaction, I think it's better you guys aren't friends if she can't handle someone who's not an outgoing person like her. But not saying either of u guys are the bad person. Don't know the whole story to ur friendship. Might start using some positive kitty images 1 reply
