A protagonist is disliked by everybody, bit after abandoning her, they realize it was a misunderstanding/evil plot all along and they're filled with regret. I eat that shit up, I could have it for breakfast and dinner everyday. Feel free to recommend such cases. The more hurt and the less forgiving the mc is, the better.
