Why is rape and dub con is so normalized?

Rape and dub con is so normalized in manhwas and it’s not just BL I would say maybe 90% of straight smut and gl also have a huge issue with rape and dub con it’s just not talked about enough. Like I’m tired of reading the bottom/fl saying “ stop” and “I can’t do this anymore”. Why is it so hard for authors to just write consensual and romantic sex scenes? I can only name very few smut manhwa that actually have consensual sex scenes and where both parties are enjoying it. Idk why people act like it’s only a BL issue like “try begging” is probably the most disgusting manhwa ever created.

I cant remember all the times somebody has asked this question. Its probably because of how sex is viewed in society: Its not meant for people to be enjoyed, but to "dominate" the other person. Just look at how people talk about it, its never about mutual pleasure, its about your own sexual gratification while simultaneously degrading the other ...... reply
