HIDOKU SHINAIDE dropped

HIDOKU SHINAIDE. Just now. No offense to those who love the series. Especially since it has a 9.6 rating for a manga with heavy rape and manipulation scenes lol. I guess its just me who didnt like it.

Why I dropped it? Simple. First I can tolerate rape (coz its yaoi logic they said) so long as the rapist (who is now the lover) totally repents what he has done. But nope. It was not after a series of volume did that happened. And I was not moved.
Second,the characters annoyed me too much. The seme pushed himself countless times to the uke and when the uke pushed him away (one time) he seriously just avoided him and hang out w/ girls. Damn boy. And when the uke saw him in the act of almost fucking w/ a girl, and the uke cried and confessed, they had sex. OKAY CHILL OUT DUDE. You were just holding some girl a min ago and then having sex just like that? Okayyy. And we never heard an apology from him after they're feeling are settled like nope we NEVER received one, not until a series of volumes later that he felt guilty he raped him.
The uke unfortunately is not something I could hold on to as well. After being raped, you fall in love w/ your rapist. Yeah typical yaoi I could have liked it but the character annoyed me. And after avoided and seeing the seme in almost having sex, you confessed and had sex like nothing happened. And its bothersome that the uke almost always looks like in a lot of pain coz of misunderstandings. Wew. Im up for drama but not this, this is not drama this is.. i dunno

I have to say, the next volumes showed their redemptions (?) But i cant stomach myself finishing it coz the first vol completely threw me off. Sorry not sorry.

I rarely dropped series especially when the ratings are high coz I want to assume that it is a nice work for it to have such a rating. But NOPE. THIS MANGA IS SOMETHING I WILL NOT BOTHER CONTINUING.

Once again, sorry for the lovers of this series but this is me and this is not my kind of manga.
