The LGBTQ+ community is not as welcoming as people make it seem
Especially toward queer women and queer people who are not from Western countries, what I'm saying is most LGBTQ+ people that I'm starting a discussion with are always aggressive and always jump to call you a gay fetishizer without hearing what you are even trying to say. You accuse trans men of being gay fetishizers and say they transitioned because "they want to live as a gay man." A huge example is the Boyfriends author; for the love of god, I don't know why people call him a gay fetishizer besides him being a trans man. We are already getting shit from our countries; we don't need your shit too.
Or when people here are ranting about how "fujoshi" ship only gay ships, even though queer people also ship only gay ships because guess what? We are tired of straight shit that has been pushed on us since birth. We don't need to ship it, but you like to pull, "You have BL, leave normal shows alone, you gay fetishizer." I was in the KomaHina shipping fandom, and guess what? Homophobes were saying the same shit to us. Congratulations, guys, for being allies to the same people who hate your guts for the sake of alienating other queer people.
When I say BL helped companies realize that gay romance can be profitable, that doesn't mean I want to milk you off, and you don't have the right to call me a "gay fetishizer" based on nothing. We don't live in La-La Land; companies make shit not because they care about you but because they want to sell you shit. If gay romance is not profitable for them, then they will never make gay shit. For the love of god, I don't know why I need to say that.
Y’know, I want to add something to this discussion but I think you said it best. No notes.
