How do you all deal with academic stress? I often find myself getting really stressed out when I think about my grades, and it ends up affecting my ability to rest and relax. :( I find it hard to take time for myself because I’m constantly worrying about whether my grades will be good enough. The pressure to perform well, especially when I’m striving for higher grades, just keeps building up. It makes me anxious and exhausted, and I often feel like I can’t truly enjoy my free time. Even on weekends, which are supposed to be for rest, I still feel this underlying tension because I know there’s always more to do, more to improve, and the constant worry about not measuring up…
Coming from a consistent honor student from elementary to highschool and president lister in uni, i deal with it by simply not thinking about it lol. Like I do my hobbies to distract myself so i don't overthinking. Also, I have this 'it is what it is' mindset, so i don't really get pressured or stressed that much. Had a huge academic burnout during 2020-2023 and accepted that i dont have to always get the best grades so I started doing the bare minimum instead, and feels better So yea my suggestion is to give up️

As an overachiever, I deal with academic stress by simply doing my best. As long as I’ve given my all, the grade doesn’t matter to me. Have you heard of the saying, "C students rule the world"? It’s because they understand failure, adapt, and thrive as future leaders. A letter or a grade doesn’t define you—you are so much more than that. ...... reply
as an overachiever in elementary(i pressure myself because i kept comparing myself to my little sister whos fucking smart gahdamn my mom genes), above average in junior, was chaotic combusted
