I think that one of the best things about forum sites like these are the variety in perspectives and each individual user’s right to speech. Despite this, it seems like some immature and or underdeveloped people (children) don’t know basic conversational etiquette. Even if it upsets me that some people are unwilling to be receptive (myself included at times) to other opinions, I would never go as far as to attack and tear down other people personally just because they like or don’t like something I do. It’s so utterly ridiculous. Like what are we fighting over??? Fiction??? Made by an author who knows not of your existence? And you’re attacking REAL people over ts
? It’s just not worth it. Disagreement can be civil, it’s just silly to resort to childish and downright pathetic attempts of discrediting someone else maliciously. I don’t know, maybe I’m too dispassionate. I don’t mean this in a way where I’d want to censor people or their right to express themselves how they choose. I just wish people would remember that it’s never that deep.
Anyone else feel any type of way about this?

Saw someone get death threats from an IvanTill Stan because they said they disliked Till under a post that was specifically asking for characters people hated it was insane like, how are you that parasocially attached to a FICTIONAL character to the point that you'll harass a LIVING human being over expressing their opinion?
Reasons why I don’t fw Alien stage fandom:
No but seriously???
Some people are either WAY too young or just super mentally ill or both
Is it bad I also don’t really like Till? Is this me speedrunning a death threat
HONESTLY VALID. Ngl it's not like I hate Till but as an individual character I don't rlly fw him that much, also hide behind me before the Till stans spot you!!!
I left the ALST fandom as soon as I saw how shallow and disrespectful people were, not worth the stress tbh
Can I propose to you??
Not if I do it first
