Not controversial (I think) but power scaling is fucking dumb and pointless. It's a never ending battle of "he'd win" "nuh uh my character would win". These characters are never going to have a crossover and even if they did its literally whoever the writer wants to win. Even then, there's always going to be someone unhappy with the outcome.
