No I completely agree as a bi woman I do find yuris much harder to enjoy than BL. A big part is that the BL community is so much larger than the GL community, so you just don’t have to look so hard for something good. It’s easier to find good product when there is more of it. For me, I consume media that totally takes me out of the equation. I'm a woman and pan, yet I find it harder to read yuri or m/f because there will always be a situation I'm meant to relate to in given scenarios, and I find it impossible to see myself in them. Oh hey hi I'm also a lesbian and I have a couple of answers for that: - There is just waay more BL of any variety out there as it has a bigger audience than GL, trust me there is also a lot of BL out there that is as boring as a good amount of GL, it is just not as noticable cuz of the BL market being so saturated. - Maybe personal take but lot ......   1 reply

thats surprising. I'm exclusively attracted to men and my reading history reflects that for the most part. I can read extremely mindless BL just because I find the guys attractive but can't do the same for yuri I barely read GL, but every time I do I find myself reading for the story and themes. I’m somehow on the other side of the spectrum - loving yuri to death. I don’t like all the works I come across, but I did amass a good collection of yuri works which I really enjoyed. I do want there to be more GLs and more variety in the themes tho, i.e. business rivalries, mafia, professional settings, etc.   reply
