It really is that good (don't make me rate the Anime version though *ugh*). Anyway, it's not super high in mystery or anything like that, but it's interesting, it never really gets boring and among most stories of its trope, it has one of the most thorough lores. A lot of the characters are great and some things that are later on revealed make it so you look at certain parts of the story in a different light after finding out everything that was there to know about them. That basically ups the potential for reading it again later on, because it feels slightly different with the knowledge you then have. Yes, as someone mentioned, there's a forced romance. I didn't like it, but it was a LOT less offensive compared to some others. I mean, every fucking Action story has a forced romance, because the really good ones mostly have no time for romance. The best I know would be Leveling with the Gods, Mercenary Enrollment and The Heavenly Demon Can't Live a Normal Life. Those stories are awesome, but the protagonists either don't have the mind or the literal time to spent on romance, yet all of these have a romantic sub plot. And in all of them it feels contrived and forced onto the reader. Merc Enrollment is by far the biggest offender, because I don't necessarily hate the Female Lead character, but I do hate her whenever the story tries to make her likeable. Because it makes her come off as super shallow, playing off a Male Lead that has lived as life as god damn child soldier in a war zone and mercenary. He is obviously not a normal guy, yet she constantly says things that just feel ridiculous. On top of that, she has no agency, nothing she's particularly good at and only exists to stick to the main character. But I digressed. It's just pretty normal at this point for a forced romance to happen, so I wouldn't know what to read if I skipped every story with one of those in it. At least, I don't hate Cha Hae-In personality wise (no, it ain't no fucking spoiler that she's going to be the forced Female Lead in this one, because it's ade obvious from the very first moment she appears).
Idk I heard there was some romance that happened that felt forced so I didn't read it, I think it's mostly because it's one of the first one's in the genre that went viral, similar to Suddenly Became a Princess One Day

It's good if you want something simple to read. The action is great and storyline is easy to follow. Definitely give it a read.
