What happen to you after your pet died

It's fvcking hard to move on, bruh. It feels like a wake up call that that's how long a life could lasts. So whenever I got to get another kitty or puppy again after loosing one, I would baby them just like how I babied my previous pets.   reply

I always feel guilty when I remember that our dog's death didn't really faze me and I never missed him that hard and never cried. I don't know why tho. I loved that dog he was so chill but I guess we just knew he was gonna die soon and there was nothing we could do to prevent it so I just accepted it   1 reply

I remember when before my dogs die, I'd tell them the history of our first dog and the other dogs in the past... The fact I can still recall most of those memories where I sit down next to them, pat their head and cry because I knew they were dying and I'll never see them again... I'd cry if my little child (senior dog) dies... I don't think I can ......   reply

a dog i had since i was 6 years old and died when i turned 18, i cried so much at his death because i loved him so much, it was hard to part after 12 years together, he literally grew up with me. My family called me dumb and that i shouldnt cry at a dog dying, that it wasnt the same thing an human dying. Now it has been almost 1 year since he died ......   reply

I felt like I was going to die for a few weeks. But then it gets better and you start to want to love something again.   reply

I'm so afraid of that. I know that it'll happen but, ever since my mom passed away, my pets are my companions and they keep me sane. I love them so much. I know it's gonna be so hard so I'm trying to enjoy every moment I have and give them a good life. So, when they're not longer here, I can mourned with love and respect and never forget them.   reply
