There's this one episode from Violet Evergarden where she's tasked to go to the home of a mother and daughter and write letters with the mother for almost a week straight. At the time, the young girl didn't know what they were for, but once her mother passed away due to sickness, she received the letters her mom and Violet wrote for her, every year......   1 reply

some recency bias. i cry almost for every death that wasn't deserved oml but some pieces that hit deep were Lord of the Mysteries- cried within the first few arcs The Spirealm- the cdrama, not the novel bc the drama made me so much more connected to the side characters and oml i cried for a good 30 mins for each death. monster 2023- watched this......   reply

One would be the first season of "Into the Rose Garden" I read it at a time where I was extremely anxious and just wanted to read something to calm myself down. Yeah. So I was crying like it was the end of the world.(2nd season is shitty) Also ORV, I'm still crying about it!   reply

the danmei "wait for me after school". the novel itself is rather happy and a comedy but near the end there was some angst and when i read it (at 3 am ) i started to sob violently. but there was a happy ending. only fiction ive cried to that i can remember   reply
