Other perspective of this issue is that these mothers went through the same stuff in their time too, sexual harrasment, may be even rape and were told to keep it under covers because you don't want to make it a big issue, so they, due to early conditioning, have been desensitised to things like rape and such.
They know it is wrong but like similar......
