"Sasaki and Miyano" is a good example of this. It's a bl that isn't overly sexualizing or too heavy, two tropes that are more common in older bls that I have seen. Another issue with some bl is that it is overly emphasized that they are gay, like you start to feel yourself thinking "we get it already." Yuki to Matsu. Its not even a specific trope, everything about this manga is amazing. I'll buy every Single volume multiple Times when I can. The Main characters (and even the side characters) are very likable. The artstyle is very different from most other BLs (and very pretty).
