When is your memory fucked?
Genuine question because I’m like terrified my brain is burnt out and my memory has tanked. I forgot stuff I learned in math over my Christmas break despite having it down before break(more recent lessons I had some recollection but still had a hard time doing) but anything more than a month before break I almost completely forgot how to do.
Also forgot a lot involved with anatomy, only know certain stuff related, kind of like random facts or in the general vicinity of the information I was trying to remember (like with bone repair I remember the first thing formed was a clot but forgot the name it has which is hematoma, also knew about sarcomere contraction but forgot specifics, knew epithelial tissue had differing types from layers and cell shapes but couldn’t remember the names for what they were) overall there was a LOT of anatomy information and specifics I couldn’t remember, which could be bc I usually only learn the material before tests/quizzes and cram it in, but other things I do take notes on while learning and still didn’t remember.
on top of that, I can list main things I did today and yesterday but can’t remember the “ in between” moments or anything before yesterday
A lot of times when I’m about to search something up I will also forget either bc I started focusing on something else or just bc and I have to wait a minute for it to come back or retrace what I was doing/my thought patterns. I’m just terrified bc I’m learning about all the things that totally fuck your brain and I have almost all of it (poor diet, screen time addiction, ocd, poor sleep schedule, anxiety, stress, depression)
is this a sign my memory is failing or am I overthinking it?? Who am I kidding why am I asking random strangers online, but idk wtf I’m going crazy
