Pretty privilege irl?

Pretty privilege is real and great only if you're a guy, hate on me all you want for this take but men with pretty privilege are treated like gods, in school all the boys who were considered even remotely "good looking" were like the princes, everyone automatically assumed they're smart, and even if they were pretty avg they were praised my teacher......   1 reply

Honestly I don't think I have pretty privilege, never have, I think it's more of a 'cool' privilege? I learned from my experience in my last school that the only way ppl can take you seriously is when you're 'unique' but also conventionally great and 'normal'. So when I transferred I did a 360, I changed my hair, I wore cool but low-key accessories......   1 reply

one thing abt pretty priviledge is that you get away with being a weird kid, u can like the same interests that people consider "weird" like anime or something but nobody will bat an eye if you're conventionally attractive, on the other hand someone who is considered unattractive would be made fun of. I'm going to tell you a story about how being pretty screwed over my aunt. (side note this happened before I was born so I might be wrong about some info) This was in the 80s or early 90s. Yeah, mostly after the pandemic because people's looks and body changed a lot. I've seen some of my ex friends treat the people they once hated and found creepy totally differently with how they treated and talked about them in the past just because they 'glowed up'.
