How to get over a crush

Pretty simple: I'm a hopeless romantic and end up having a huge crush on a guy who was my TA in 2023
So, I've been thinking about him for more than a year and this delusions don't end even though I've interacted with him only a few times

I know that is ridiculous and I keep telling myself that I've idolized him, that I don't really know him, but I just melt every time I see his smile. Moreover friends of mine are friends with him and they talk so good about him that I just can't break the illusion,

what do I do?? I'm desperate T . T
