Some tropes that you feel aren't used enough or that only occur in a small portion of a story? I'll start:
When a love interest falsely believes that the other person is a player/much more experienced than they are. Off the top of my head it occurs in On and Off as well as My Guildmate Next Door. I find that this is a low stakes misunderstanding that isn't gonna make me rip my hair out with frustration, or my heart out in pain. A lot of the time it just gives us some cute flustered moments ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
I also love when a character has a subconscious dream about someone before they had awakened to their feelings, but this always hits especially hard when the person dreaming had been an asshole prior. Love dreams aren't too uncommon, but humbling dreams are where it's at. It's no longer on the site but I think Banana Scandal season 2 had this, and maybe BJ Alex?
Not exactly niche but I love gap more, people who look very menacing but are sweethearts. Like It's fairly popular, but I can't get enough of it. Like Mr. Villain's day off, or yakuza bais reply
I can't even name you a single trope ('cept for enemies to lovers). I'll like/read any tropes as long as theyre well written and not morally questionable reply
The dork and the delinquent.
It can be friendship hood, sibling hood, or lover hood.
When one of them is a dork and the other a delinquent, bruh, I’m captured, detained, and there is no way of me coming out—I’m in love!!!!
I just love this dynamic.
Hehehehhe
