I've been genuinely curious about this since I started reading bl but if he says no then, what is the point of continuing? Sex can be really tiring. And relationships are complicated. You want to please your partner and make them happy. So sometimes it's hard to say no. And if your partner doesn't mind that you are half asleep, the sex can be enjoyable for both.
