Since around 70% of yaois are pretty much just abuse stories i've come to see a upsetting response by readers, the mc does something annoying or makes a mistake during the course of the story so when he gets abused by the ml (either the mc is toxic or straight up a rapist) the readers pretty much blame both parties for the abuse even though it's very clear who the abuser is.
It's sad to see people still believe in mutual abuse. If the victim is not the perfect victim having sympathy for them is basically impossible from some of you, like no the mc getting drunk or being with another guy doesn't mean he deserve to be abused.
Some of y'all seriously hate cheaters more than rapists
Thankfully i think most of the readers that have this belief are young so their mind will probably change as they grow.

I hate how it was cancelled for portraying SA is a tasteful and serious manner when in the literal second episode of the show morel goes around town impregnating sleeping women that's okay but a serious portrayal of a woman sa is too much??

As soon as they weren’t treating serious topics like sa as jokes and for being too “dark” they canceled it when it made me and probably many others more aware of how victims are going to cope in ways that are uncomfortable or how corrupt people can be and still hide behind their religion or twist things how they want using God as their backing. Just an all round very impactful show
