your sleeping habits?
for me, I keep my phone flashlight on because sometimes I get hallucinations for like two or three minutes after waking up. When it's totally dark, I start panicking and screaming. Even though I still get hallucinations with the flashlight on and still panic (because, hello, there's something in my room), the light helps me stay calm enough not to scream—and it works. I also keep my PC on until I fall asleep. I've had scary sleep paralysis in the past, like feeling touched during it, which is terrifying when you're alone. Having the background noise of people talking makes me feel safe and less alone, so I keep my PC on (but sometimes it bites in the ass because my brain switches the topics of those videos to something else and it says some really scary stuff during my sleep).
It has to be completely dark and completely quiet, otherwise I can’t sleep.
