If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Learn to be comfortable with yourself, despite being odd. Growing up in the 80s meant there was no room for being odd. Find contentment where you're at, and know that no matter how hard it seems now, it's only temporary. Don't take the good times for granted either, because you know it's only temporary.
