AITA? A harwad graduate said I was a dumb and boring person for not enjoying and hating on a piece of literature where the protagonist goes through a shit ton of traumatic shit and is in a clearly abusive relationship, they then proceeded to tell me to learn to read and look at the nuances of the text ironically bc abuse in that light shld b super ironically funny which pissed me off so I lit their eyes on fire. Does that make me an asshole?
