If they'll betray someone once, they'll do it again. Not worth being involved with people like that! People rarely ACTUALLY change. Edit: Especially the type of ppl who make this same exact thread over and over trying to be validated lmfao (just noticed who OP is)   2 reply

I'm never actually THAT close to anybody for them to really have an effect on me. I've been friends with people who did drugs, stole, lied and had bad rumors about them, been suspended numerous times without signs of changing. Honestly, I don't really care about those things. If we can get along, we can get along. Like if they told me about stuff a......   reply

Definitely don’t brush it to the side. Watch out and make sure they aren’t going to continue doing those things. Like, if I found out my friend used to steal a lot, I might not be as quick to let them roam freely around my drawers and jewelry. But I’d still be friends with them, so long as you can tell they’ve changed significantly.   reply

If they betrayed me: slowly ghost bc I don't get over things and will contemptuously judge them for the teeniest missteps despite knowing they aren't like that anymore. If they betrayed somebody else: I don't really care.   2 reply

I’d forgive them. For things like these, it’s better to leave the past in the past, cause thats the only way we can move forward. I also wasn’t the greatest person in the past but I’ve changed, and I have talked about some of the things I’ve done with my friends, and I can be annoying, but they accept me anyways. Change is a part of the h......   reply

If they really changed, then probably, yeah. But, the difference between "regretting your actions and changing" and "realizing that other people view that action poorly" is a pretty big deal to me. Just because someone regrets kicking puppies, doesn't necessarily mean they wouldn't kick a frog or something. Also, side note, basically nothing that ......   reply

why should i care if they changed already and its in the past? its a "mistake" for a reason. Everyone makes mistakes and people change from them and im sorry if the majority people you know didnt change that's a you problem. We're all humans so why should they be held so much accountable for their past when its in the past? are you telling me when ......   1 reply

Does murder count? I'm kidding. But in any case, my unpopular opinion on this doesn't matter enough for me to share it and be bullied by kids, so imma keep to myself =) Just gotta say this; I think everyone deserves a second chance, if they are genuinely repentent. Especially if they made those mistakes when very young.   reply
