y'all how do I even begin to explain how much I love every time these two come together and cook, love or hate was so good i could never forget about it, like every character felt so real and had quite the depth for a "bl manhwa" specifically. I started reading fools remastered after that only to find it got discontinued, so I'll read fools orignal now yay and also found out that Hate Mate was written by Yeongha too so gonna read that too! anyways, I had searched this up before and knew that Yeongha and Bakdam kinda parted ways back in 2022 when their shared account solely became Yeongha's and I searched it up again today and hence this post but god how I wish they'd come together again and produce more masterpieces cuz I just can't see Yeongha's amazing writing skills with any other artist, idk what it is about Bakdam's art but something about it not fitting the standard "beautiful" art category for manhwas basically the yaoi art thing and kind of being unique in its own way is soo good, like I remember not really liking it when I was reading Love Or Hate but ever since then, every time I reread it, I fell more and more in love with Bakdam's artstyle, currently they're working on their own project called "What Kind of Rice Cake is this?" even though I'm not the biggest fan of straight manhwas let alone love triangles (love or hate and a few more are exceptions lmao <3), i decided to give it a try but idk it just didn't feel right, their artstyle improved amazingly which is great but the storyline, it just...man idk. ofc could be (it is) so that I'm being biased cuz love or hate had an interview format for the story which btw WAS SO SO SO GOOD AHHHHH!!!! Gosh I'm squealing just remembering about it cause in that, each character gave certain answers to questions at the start and then again at the end and seeing how each of their answers changed after having their lives impacted by each other for a certain period was so interesting.
Also I found out that both Bakdam and Yeongha both took part in "2022 highly rated bl anthology" seperately, Yeongha along with Joo Hwan for "On Air" and Bakdam alone for "Gosu's Lethan", both were meh cuz duh it was a short story.
Anyways I really hope Bakdam and Yeongha come together again and produce something in the future, ANY GENRE, I'd prefer bl but if it's them, any genre is fine I just wanna see their skills together again. Now that I think about it, its kinda weird I'm attached this way to their pairing but idc :D
